TNM (Malawi) appoints Engineer Lloyd Gowera as Acting CEO

The Board of Directors of Telekom Networks Malawi Plc wishes to notify all stakeholders that it has appointed Chief Technical Officer, Engineer Lloyd Gowera as Acting Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lloyd Gowera has more than 20 years’ experience in mobile telecommunications working with various global telecom operators in Zambia, Madagascar and Papua New Guinea, He holds an MBA from ESAMI, a BScin IT and a Diploma in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering.

The Board wishes to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing CEO Mr. Arnold Mbwana for his contribution to Telekom Networks Malawi Pic in various senior executive positions during his tenure with the company. The appointment is with immediate effect. The Board will inform all its stakeholders and the general public accordingly once the appointment of a permanent CEO is made.
