Swala Oil and Gas (Tanzania) Plc is an oil and gas company with extensive interests in Tanzania and Burundi. Its current exploration operations include the Kilosa-Kilombero license in Tanzania with a 75% participating interest, and Block D in Burundi with a 100% participating interest. Swala Oil is a shareholder of PAE PanAfrican Energy Corporation (“PAEM”); a Mauritius-based company which owns PanAfrican Energy Tanzania Limited (“PAET”). PAET holds the rights granted by the government of Tanzania to explore, develop, market, produce and sell natural gas from the Songo gas fields in Tanzania. This includes rights to managing the associated infrastructure and distribution and marketing agreements with the private sector and state enterprises.
This annual general meeting (AGM) is a mandatory yearly gathering of the company’s interested shareholders.
