Seed Co International (Botswana) – Notice of Dividend Currency Exchange Rate for Botswana Registered Shareholders

On 27 June 2024, the Board of Directors of Seed Co International Limited (“SCI” or the “Company”) declared a final dividend of 0.31 US cents per share.

The dividend will be paid on or around 7 August 2024 to holders of record of the Company’s common shares on Wednesday 31 July 2024 (the “Record Date”).

Shares will trade cum-div up-to and including Friday 26 July 2024 and ex-div from Monday 29 July 2024.

Shareholders on the Botswana share register will be paid in USD if they have provided their USD bank account details to the Company, through the Botswana Calculation and Paying Agents, Desert Secretarial Services t/a DSS, by the Record Date.

Shareholders on the Botswana share register who do not have USD bank accounts or who have not provided their USD bank account details to the Company by the Record Date will be paid the dividend in Botswana Pula based on the prevailing exchange rate on the Record Date, as determined by reference to SCI’s bank, Absa Bank Botswana Limited, being BWP13.55 to USD1.00.

Accordingly, the gross dividend will be BWP0.042005 per share. A net dividend payment will be made after the deduction of applicable withholding taxes imposed in accordance with Botswana taxation laws.
