REIZ | PASSING OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

It is with great sadness that the board of directors of Real Estate Investments Zambia PLC (“REIZ” or the “Company”) advises of the death of Mr. Timothy Mushibwe on Sunday 25 January 2015.

Mr. Mushibwe was the non-executive chairman of the Company since 2010, and a non-executive director of the board since 2001. He made a significant contribution to the company and his exemplary leadership and contribution to the board will be sorely missed.

The board and management of REIZ wish to extend their heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Mushibwe.

The board of directors will meet and will thereafter make a formal announcement regarding election of new chairman of the board.
