Notore Chemical Industries Plc (Nigeria) – Notification of changes to management

Notore Chemical Industries Plc (“Notore” or “the Company”) hereby notifies its Shareholders, Nigerian Exchange Limited and the Investing Public of the following changes to Management:

Retirement
Mr. Bola Tolujo – Group Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Bola Tolujo is a chartered accountant with over 25 years’ cognate experience in banking, professional accountancy practice and the public sector. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Mr. Bola Tolujo joined the Company in March 2008 as Financial Controller and rose to the position of the Group Head, Financial Control and Administration prior to his appointment as Group Chief Financial Officer (“GCFO”) on 30th September 2020. In accordance with Company policy, Mr. Bola Tolujo retired as GCFO with effect from 29th October 2022.

Appointment
Ms. Chekwubechukwu Onianwa – Group Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Chekwubechukwu Onianwa has been appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer (“GCFO”) effective 29th October 2022. Ms. Onianwa holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting/ Finance from Edo State University Ekpoma (now Ambrose and Ali University), she is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and has garnered over 20 years’ cognate experience in Management Accounting.

Chekwubechukwu commenced her career as a Management Trainee with UACN Plc in 2001 where she worked in various roles as Management Account Controller, Business Efficiency Manager and Management Accountant. She joined Notore in 2008 as a Management Accountant and rose to the Head of Budgeting, Planning and Investor Relations, a role she held until her appointment as GCFO.
