NewGold Issuer Limited (GLD.gh) moves an additional 50 000 ETF units to Ghana Register
A total number of 50 000 NewGold ETF units have been moved to the Ghana register to improve liquidity. This brings the total number NewGold ETF units on the Ghana register to 55 000. Following the increase in float, value traded in NewGold ETF increased to GHS 2.6mn year to-date as a result of increased buying interest from local investors targeting safe haven assets and alternatives amid rising global inflation and cedi volatility during the period.
