MedTech Holdings (Zimbabwe) delays publication of audited financial statements for FY21

MedTech Holdings Limited wishes to advise shareholders that publication of the audited financialstatements for the year ended 31 December 2021 has been delayed for the following reasons.

  • The notable change to the structure of the business part way through the year, with the change to BridgeFort Capital Limited as a private equity investment holding company.
  • Application of the investment entity exception per IFRS10, Consolidated Financial Statements, which is a significant change in accounting treatment and has proven to be highly technical.
  • Skills shortages and complexities relating the above changes.

The audited financial statements will be published on or before 31 May 2022.
