Following thirteen months at the helm of Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe Limited and having successfully led the company’s turnaround, Kaziwe Siame Kaulule is being reassigned to assume a new leadership role in LafargeHolcim within the region. He will therefore, be stepping down as CEO of Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe Limited once his successor is identified.
Kaziwe is a Zambian National who joined Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe Limited in December 2018 from LafargeHolcim London, UK where he worked as General Manager of the Lead Retail Division.
During his stint in Zimbabwe, Kaziwe steered the business to realise unprecedented positive transformation and growth, while fostering a solid internal culture built to take the business forward. He leaves when the business is implementing high value capital expenditure projects which have been awarded national project status.
The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe would like to thank Kaziwe for his exceptional service to the organisation, albeit for such a short period. We wish him success on his new assignment.
For and on behalf of the Board of Directors
Kumbirayi Chiimba Katsande
