Capital Oil Plc is a petroleum marketing company operating in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. The company sources and supplies a wide range of petroleum products including industrial supplies, automotive gas oil, premium motor spirit, dual purpose kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas bottling, lubricants and chemicals. Capoil imports automotive gas oil in commercial quantity for the industrial and retail sector. The company has a 14-metric ton LPG plant in Ogun state in Nigeria and a 10-metric ton LPG in the Ogun state. Capital Oil Plc was rescued from near collapse in 2012 and has gone through a major turnaround exercise; profitability was restored and value to shareholders was restored. The company has 11 service outlets which were reactivated and are profitable. Capital Oil Plc’s head office is in Lagos, Nigeria. Capital Oil is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange
