Kenolkobil Limited is an oil marketing company supplying, storing, distributing and retailing an extensive range of petroleum products for markets in Africa sub-regions. This involves trading crude and refined petroleum products including motor fuels, industrial oils, liquified petroleum gas, aviation fuels, lubricants and various specialist oils. Kenolkobil Limited also markets a range of lubricants under the Castrol and K-Lube brands and sells a cooking gas called K-gas; and supplies gas accessories such as burners, regulators, cooking grills, lanterns, cookers, gas poles and hoses and fuel management systems. Kenolkobil Limited was the first marketer in Kenya to commission a fully-electronic fleet fuel management system, called K-Card which offers holder’s highly discounted purchases at its service stations across the country. Formerly known as Kenya Oil Company Limited (Kenol), the company was founded in 1959 as a wholesaler of packaged Kerosene and later invested in service stations.
