Telekom Networks Malawi Limited is the major provider of telecommunication services in Malawi; offering a range of products that include post- and pre-paid airtime, interconnections, international incoming and roaming, handsets, equipment and accessories. Additional products and services include smart data packages, a mobile money wallet called Mpamba, Yanga Internet bundles; as well as voice services which include caller tune, call conference and mobile directory services. Value-added services include Me2U which allows customers to share airtime, Pasavute airtime services, and multimedia messaging services. Innovations include the introduction of 3.5g broadband services and high-speed wireless Internet access, voice and data connectivity, and video and music streaming. Telekom Networks Malawi Limited was the first mobile network operator in Malawi and was established as a joint venture between Telekom Malaysia and the then government-owned Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL). Telekom Malaysia sold its 60% majority stake in TNM and the telecommunication enterprise is now a wholly-owned Malawi company.

Chief Executive Officer
Michiel is a native of The Netherlands who has had a dynamic international career in the telecoms, ICT and media industries. He received his MSc in Applied Mathematics at the University of Delft. In addition, he studied Business Administration and attended the London Business School.
Michiel has spent most of his working life in senior positions in telecom companies going through significant changes such as at KPN, Ben (now T-Mobile, an affiliate of Deutsche Telekom), Orange, Smile and AT&T. He has worked in diverse countries with diverse cultures including Belgium, The Czech Republic, Spain, France, Indonesia and (recently) Nigeria.
He also has experience as an executive Board member at global media companies (Endemol and Sanoma), where he was responsible for digital business (online media and e-commerce) and group-wide digital transformation of television, magazines, and newspapers. Most recently, Michiel was the Chief Executive Officer of a European AI software provider, CX Company and has current board memberships in Novec (telecoms) and Infinitas (education).
Dr Partridge is the Group Chief Executive of Press Corporation. Prior to this, he was at National Bank of Malawi where he held several positions including being the CEO. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked in various capacities at the Reserve Bank of Malawi for 11 years, rising to the position of Director. Currently, he is Chairman of the Malawi Airlines Board and a Council Member of The University of Malawi. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Malawi.
