Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC) is proud to have hosted the 2018 edition of the Inter-company First Aid Competition held on Saturday, 11th August 2018 at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe. The competition was held under the theme “Life is precious, help the injured“.

The Minister of Mines and Minerals Development, Hon. Richard Musukwa, MP, graced the event which was also attended by representatives of Government departments and agencies, all Chief Executive Officers of the mining companies on the copperbelt and north western province of Zambia, among other notable attendees.

The CEC Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Christopher Nthala, delivered the speech below on behalf of the Managing Director, Mr. Owen Silavwe:
